Mutwari translates to "chief" in many Bantu languages. That's what this exceptional coffee is. A leader that stands out from the rest. This fresh roasted coffee is nicely balanced, medium bodied coffee that stays consistent cup after cup.
Mutwari coffee comes from 50 farmer groups/individual small holder farmers. It is composed of both CPU (central pulpery units-fully washed) and HP (home processed-home washed) coffee throughout the Mbozi, Mbeya Rural, Ileje, and Rungwe districts of Mbeya Region.
Tanzania is one of the most underrated coffee producing countries in East Africa. With outstanding tasting coffees, and determined producers striving for better quality while struggling with very limited resources. With time and continued investment even greater coffees will be produced in this part of the world.

All orders over $39.99 are eligible for free shipping in the contiguous United States.
We ship items out as soon as possible, but this will not be the same day as your order. Our coffee is roast to order so please add 2 business days to allow for processing time. If we anticipate a longer lead time, it will be noted in the item description. If you have any questions about the lead time on a specific item, please contact us at info@jamjii.com with your questions.
You should receive an email confirming your order shortly after you’ve placed it. If you don’t receive that email, please check your spam folder and see if you can locate it. This is especially important because, if you haven’t received the order confirmation email, you also won’t receive the email with your shipment notification and tracking information.
